Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 12-18. The program gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing and practicing, leadership, project management skills and meeting new friends.

Connect with leaders in your community and around the world to:

  • Take action to make a difference in your school and community
  • Discover new cultures and promote international understanding
  • Become a leader in your school and community
  • Have fun and make new friends from around the world

The Scarborough Rotary club sponsors both the Interact Club at Scarborough High School and Scarborough Middle School. As a sponsor, we provide support and guidance, but Interact clubs are self-governing and self-supporting.  Our High School Interact club members complete at least six community service projects within the community each school year.  Our Middle School Club plants the seed for service in the community, and personal growth.  Through projects, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs. And, in the process, Interactors develop leadership skills and learn the value of hard work.  As one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and geographical areas, Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon.

Celebrate the global impact of Interact by getting involved in:

  • World Interact Week
  • Interact Video Awards
  • Rotary Youth Day at the United Nations
  • Global Youth Service Day
