Our speaker for the evening was Matt Dunlap, the Secretary of State for Maine. He spoke to us about the Real ID act and how it is being implemented as well as how it will impact each of us in the future.
Matt informed us that moving forward, each of us would be required to show identification at the time of drivers license renewal. He gave many examples of what would be required and sited cases where many in our state would have difficulties in producing the required documents.
