Passing of Past President Phil Mancini

Our club is profoundly saddened by the untimely passing of Past President Phil Mancini. Phil served two terms as president from 2005 to 2007,  and served as club secretary. His favorite service project might have Turkey Bowling at the annual Scarborough Winterfest where his smile was well known, but he was a fixture at all of Rotary's service projects. Our condolences to Phil's family.

 

RYLA Chairman Phil Giordano reports that donations of more than $2,000 to Scarborough Rotary in Phil Mancini's memory have been received so far. The funds will be used to build a new element for the RYLA course at Camp Hinds. It is to be called the "Mancini Mountain".
